Nanny required in Four Oaks, Sutton Coldfield – ASAP but the family will wait for the right person.
I have a lovely family looking to build up a small care team to support their teenage son who has cerebral palsy. The family also have three younger children ranging in age from 10 to 2 years old and the role is to help the family lead a normal life as possible. The eldest son is an active wheelchair user who loves music, swimming and all things outdoors. He usually attends regular trampoline and horse-riding groups and he dotes on his younger siblings and likes to keep up with them no matter what!
The family are looking for caring, dedicated and motivated individuals to join our two full time carers as soon as possible. They have been with us for a number of years as stability and building relationships over time is vital in this role. If you are fun, creative and energetic and passionate about young people reaching their potential.
The majority of shifts will be supporting the eldest son (to include personal care) but special needs experience is not essential just a loving and caring Nanny. The role requires the need for organisation, planning and flexibility. You will be happy working in collaboration with other team members when required eg when all the children are together or supporting any of the children on a 1 to 1 basis when needed. You will be sensitive to working in the family home, respecting privacy and boundaries and happy to accompany us on family holidays from time to time.
Hours will be around 40 hours a week and salary negotiable at this stage.
A Driving Licence is essential and full induction and relevant training will be provided.
I know I have many wonderful Nannies and this really would be an amazing, rewarding and super position. Please get in touch, the family are looking for 2 Nannies.
