Full time nanny job near Lechlade in Gloucestershire caring for B3 and B4 and new baby boy due February 2022.
B3 at nursery two days a week (3 days from April) and B4 at school. Looking for someone from March or from June/July
Role involves sole charge care of the boys and baby but the family will also have a maternity nanny April-June (mother goes back to work in April). From the end of June, nanny will have sole full-time charge of all 3 and parents may be away or travelling at times.
As well as childcare, duties include preparing healthy home cooked meals, imaginative and creative play, organising a routine and activities, helping with schoolwork if needed and keeping children’s rooms, clothes, kitchen etc clean and tidy. A cleaner is employed once a week
Family are looking for someone proactive, flexible, organised, disciplined (the boys are spirited and can test boundaries!), reliable, dog friendly, outdoorsy, energetic and with previous childcare experience. Nanny needs to be a good driver, comfortable in a 4×4 and a duty car is provided. Nanny needs to be happy to have sole charge of the dogs too on occasion!
Can be live in Monday to Friday or live out if very local – Accommodation is separate ensuite room above the garage.
48 hours a week (probably more in months or June, July and September!) Monday – Friday. Flexibility within these hours is required as both parents have unpredictable hours, although as much notice will be given as can be. Generally 2 x 11/12 hours days a week, and 3 x 8/9 hour days. Plus a couple of evenings/overnights per month and approx 6 weekends per annum.
